Advocacy

New York Farm Bureau serves as our members’ voice on state and national issues. We lobby state and federal lawmakers, agencies, and departments on public policy issues and act in our members’ best interests to support their family farms and rural communities. We also assist county Farm Bureaus to address important local issues.

All of our public policy positions are created and approved through our member grassroots policy process, ensuring every farmer has the opportunity to have their voice heard.
