New York Farm Bureau Calls for State Convention Workshop Proposals

The theme for StaCon ’24 is “Farming Forward: Leadership. Innovation. Diversification.”

It will be held December 3-5 at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY

New York Farm Bureau is excited to announce this year’s State Convention, “Farming Forward: Leadership. Innovation. Diversification.” will provide an engaging program to help NYFB members, farmers, and agricultural professionals better plan for the future. StaCon and the organization’s Annual Meeting will be held Dec. 3-5, 2024, at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY.

NYFB is issuing a call for proposals for educational workshops that support the theme of the conference. The organization is encouraging people to submit an application to conduct an engaging learning opportunity for attendees. The focus should be on the three different tracks of leadership, innovation, and diversification.

Topics could include how leaders can overcome obstacles and move through change, showcasing new agricultural technology, or ways to adapt to evolving markets, including value-added and agritourism options.

The presentation or demonstration should be 45-75 minutes in length or include a 60-minute roundtable or panel discussion.

Proposals are due to New York Farm Bureau by May 31, 2024, with selections made by June 15. Please click here to submit a proposal or contact New York Farm Bureau Events Director Laurie Beach at lbeach@nyfb.org or call 518-436-8495.
