NEW YORK FARM BUREAU TO HOST 2023 AGRICULTURAL SUMMIT

Registration is open for this forward-thinking roundtable event to assist members

and agri-professionals with strategic planning for their farms and organizations.

Moving farms forward will be the focus of the 2023 New York Farm Bureau Agricultural Summit on Tuesday, August 8 in Syracuse, NY. The event will bring NYFB members, Agriculture Alliance partners, and agribusinesses together to discuss strategic planning, workforce development, and market trends.

The event will kick off with Mike Carter, Associate Vice President for Corporate Strategy for Nationwide Insurance. He will lead participants through developing a roadmap for success for their farm or organization.  A series of panel presentations will follow that will include roundtable discussions where attendees will talk about the topics and learn from each other.

The panel topics include building a career pipeline for hiring your next employees, leveraging industry and consumer trends to gain new markets, and managing tough conversations with legislators.

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center at 801 University Avenue. Early bird pricing for NYFB members is $69, through July 14. The ticket price then jumps to $79 for members. Non-members can register for $139. Lunch is included in the price. Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

More information and registration can be found on the event website at www.summit.nyfb.org.
