The Grants 101 Workshop provides a basic introduction to grant funding. The program is ideal for people who have no experience with grants or who want to improve their skills. Grant-writing tips, including how to increase your chances of receiving funding and how to find funding opportunities will be reviewed.

Bio: Nick DeCicco is a grant writer with Capital Region BOCES Grants and Development Service, a governmental entity that provides educational leadership, services and support to meet the needs of students and school districts. He has been a grant writer for eight years, and has extensive experience in preparing, writing and submitting grants.
